The Kingdom Nation team has ministered to over a million African youth in the past year. They've seen God lift students from tragic circumstances and inspire a generation.
Rocketsled Studios is partnering with Kingdom Nation to produce a streaming series that hopes to bring their amazing stories to the entire continent.
Kingdom Nation is an outreach of Heroes of the Nation, one of the largest Christian orphanages and schools in Kenya.
We are preparing to film a pilot and two additional episodes in Kenya by Summer. We will use the pilot to secure distribution and full series funding.
The anticipated cost of the pilot, plus two additional episodes is $25,000.
One of the things we especially love about this series is the potential for multiple levels of impact.
Impact #1 - Story impact on the youth of Africa
The stories coming out of the Kingdom Nation Team's ministry are exactly the kind of stories youth across Africa should be watching - versus much of the degrading entertainment you find online currently.
Impact #2 - Promotion for Kingdom Nation's on the ground ministry
The series will be ongoing advertisement for the ministry, opening doors, preparing the way for their arrival and providing follow up inspiration after the team is gone.
Impact #3 - Heroes of the Nation will own the series and any financial return
We hope to distribute the series on African streaming platforms. Any revenue generated will support the ministry of Heroes of the Nation and Kingdom Nation.
Impact #4 - Training the next generation of international filmmakers
On our first trip to Kenya, we were so impressed with the Heroes of the Nation Media Team, we determined to come back to film this series. We believe the Heroes team and those they will train in turn have the potential to impact Africa for decades.
